Effective date: October 22, 2026 · Last updated: October 22, 2026

The short version

  • Respect copyrights and trademarks. Do not post photos or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Rights owners can send us a DMCA notice; we remove infringing content and notify the user.
  • Users can send a counter-notice. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Our approach

Slabsta respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA"). Listing a genuine comic for resale is generally permitted under the first-sale doctrine, and photos of the actual item are allowed. Copying another seller's photos or descriptions, or selling bootlegs, is not.

Designated agent

DMCA Designated Agent: BlockPay LLC d/b/a Slabsta, Attn: Copyright Agent. Email: blockpayllc@gmail.com (subject: "DMCA Notice"). A mailing address is available on request and in our filing with the US Copyright Office.

Notice and takedown

To report infringement, send a written notice that includes:

We will remove or disable access to the material and notify the user. Knowingly false notices can create liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice with: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone; and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any district where Slabsta may be found) and to accept service from the complainant. We will forward it to the complainant and may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless they notify us that they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringer policy

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe. Generally, an account that receives three valid notices (strikes) within 12 months will be terminated, and we may terminate sooner for egregious cases.

Trademarks and other IP

For trademark, counterfeit or other IP complaints that are not copyright, email blockpayllc@gmail.com with the subject "IP Complaint," identifying your rights and the listing. Grading-company names and marks (CGC, CBCS, PGX) belong to their owners and are used only to describe items.
