Orders, Refunds & Disputes
The short version
- Slabsta does not offer a buyer protection program, guarantee, warranty or insurance for any purchase. Sales are between buyer and seller.
- Buyers pay a Slabsta service fee (5% of the item price + $0.70); sellers pay a 3% Slabsta fee (min $0.50) from the payout. The service fee is non-refundable; refunds cover the item price and shipping. See Fees.
- Your payment is held until the carrier confirms delivery and the 2-day inspection window ends (or you confirm receipt); sellers are then paid in the weekly Friday payout. Orders without tracking in 5 days are cancelled and refunded automatically.
- If something is wrong, use Report a problem in the app within 2 days after delivery. We review reports and may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund, require a return, or release funds to the seller.

How orders work
Payments are processed by Stripe. Sellers are paid in one weekly batch every Friday. An order is included once the carrier confirms delivery and the 2-day inspection window has passed (or the buyer confirms receipt after carrier-confirmed delivery) with no open problem report or chargeback. Payment stays held by Slabsta until then; refunds and disputes are paid from held funds, and any amount owed by a seller (for example a fee on a refunded order) is deducted from the next Friday payout. If the seller does not add valid tracking within 5 days, the order is cancelled and you are refunded automatically. This page is part of our Terms of Service.
Reporting a problem
If an item does not arrive, is materially different from the listing, or arrives damaged, use Purchases → Report a problem within 2 days after the carrier shows delivery and before you confirm receipt. Include clear photos of the packaging, item, label and certification number. Confirming receipt pays the seller and ends the ability to report a problem in the app. Keep all packaging until the report is resolved.
Review and refunds
When a report is opened, the seller's payout is paused while we look at tracking, the listing, photos and messages; the seller may respond. We may ask either party for more information or require a tracked return. Outcomes are at Slabsta's discretion and may include a full or partial refund to the original payment method, a return, or release of funds to the seller. Refunds cover the item price and shipping; the Slabsta service fee is non-refundable. Refunds typically appear in 5–10 business days. We do not refund changes of mind, raw-grade opinions consistent with the listing, disclosed defects, items paid for off-platform, or reports involving fraud or abuse.
Card disputes and chargebacks
You may dispute a charge with your card issuer. When a dispute is filed, we respond through Stripe and the card network process, may pause the related payout, and may close any open report on the same order. If a dispute is decided against the seller, the seller may be responsible for the disputed amount as described in the Seller Policy. Abuse of reports or disputes may lead to account limits or suspension.
No guarantee
Slabsta is a marketplace, not the seller. We do not guarantee that any item will arrive, match its description, be authentic, or be refunded, and nothing on Slabsta is insurance or a warranty. Nothing in this page limits rights you have under law or against the other user, and the arbitration and limitation-of-liability terms in our Terms of Service apply.
